The Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre (HRCC) is open seven days a week and is a hub of activities and events for residents and visitors in the Harvey area.
Our air conditioned Function Room seats approximately 270 people (theatre style) incorporating bar facilities, commercial kitchen, cool-room, cinema screen, stage, sound and lighting.
Cultural activities and performances are regularly held at our venue and these include live theatre, a range of music genres, comedy and children’s shows plus much more.
Cultural performances in 2017 included The Beggars (music), Eleanor’s Story (live theatre), Barbara and Barry’s Sweet, Sour and Saucy (comedy) and Kookoo Kookaburra (children).
A weekly movie (Cinema at The Centre) is shown every Tuesday afternoon at 1pm and often features a recent release, Australian theme or all-time classic movie.
Other annual cultural activities that occur at the HRCC include the Australia Day breakfast, Harvey Agricultural Show, Bianca Panetta Academy of Dance and the Harvey Seniors Christmas Dinner.
